Why Cerakote for firearms restoration rather than blueing?
Essentially, blueing is nothing more than controlled rust. In contrast, Cerakote doesn’t rust and is the single most corrosive resistant finish on the market (oil not required). We recommend Elite Midnight for those who want the closest look possible to that old school dark blueing. It’s perfect for black powder firearms too.
